Georgetown:
Joseph Bivens Groverman, 85, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Groverman was born in Georgetown on November 25, 1924, a son of the late Henry John Groverman and Mary Catherine Bivens Groverman. He served in the Army during World War II and was a business man and farmer. Mr. Groverman was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Groverman was predeceased by his wife, Myra Mitchum Groverman.
Surviving are: two grandchildren, Stephany Groverman and Blaine Murrow, both of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday morning, August 31, 2010, at First Baptist Church at ten o'clock. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
