Pawleys Island: Abigail "Sweet Pea" Lynn Holsclaw, 49, of Pawleys Island, SC, was received into the loving arms of her Lord on May 24, 2021, She passed away with her mother and father, Frank and Gail Holsclaw by her side. Abigail lived with her parents and sister, Joy, for 48 years, where she was God's little Angel receiving and giving love, a gentle teacher teaching them what no book or professor ever could. Abigail , which means in Hebrew, "her father's joy," participated in special needs classes in the Kingston and Waccamaw Elementary School bringing joy to her friends through her own quiet and gentle spirit. Abigail met many new friends and teachers in the J.O.Y. School for Special Needs Children, which is held in the summers at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church. From the age of 21 until her death, Abigail participated in the Georgetown County Disabilities and Special Needs programs where again she stole the hearts of the staff who attended to her needs. Abigail leaves behind along with parents who will miss her greatly, her sister Joy, and many aunts, uncles and cousins spread across the country. Not only that, she leaves behind many caregivers and staff at Middleton Home where she lived for one year and was loved by all before her death. One of her caregivers said, "she left a footprint in my heart…thanks for the memories Abigail." The celebration of Abigail's life and resurrection will be held at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021, with a reception to follow.
