Andrews:
Adelaide McFaddin Clemons, 82, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Clemons was born in Gable on January 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Earl Sloan McFaddin and Mary Elizabeth Watkins McFaddin. She grew up in Gable and graduated from Gable High School. Mrs. Clemons was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a former member of the Administrative Board. She was also a member of the Esther Elizabeth Circle of the United Methodist Women and the Daisy Watson Church School Class. Mrs. Clemons was the widow of Carlisle Clemons.
Surviving are: two sons, Jimmy Clemons and Roland Clemons, both of Andrews; two daughters, Mary Lou C. Moore of Andrews and Marsha C. Morris of Lugoff; a sister-in-law, Doris McFaddin of Gable; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Trinity United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon, July 11, 2004, at three o'clock. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Steven M. Todd. Burial will follow at Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home on Saturday evening, July 10, 2004, from seven until nine o'clock.
