Bradley was born May 6, 1969, son of Vickie Cribb Tompkins and the late Albert Otis Tompkins. He attended Georgetown High School and First Baptist Church.
Bradley was a commercial fisherman following in the footsteps of his father and uncle as he mastered the trade. He even learned to sew shrimp nets and was seen on the decks of local boats mending their nets. He was a jack-of-all trades and a handy carpenter. He loved the outdoors and in later years found his own place on the deck of the boat where he could feel the presence of God.
He is remembered as a caring, compassionate and loving person. He welcomed people with his smile and extended his hand of friendship. He loved his family. He never met a stranger.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Otis Tompkins, his paternal grandparents, Albert and Lila Tompkins, and his maternal grandfather Lloyd Bradley Cribb, all of Georgetown.
Surviving are his wife Beverly Pozzi Tompkins of the home, his mother Vickie Cribb Tompkins, Georgetown, his step-son Derrick Tompkins, Georgetown, his grandmother Nell Morris Cribb, Georgetown, and two special aunts Louise Jordan, Georgetown and Cammie Steele, West Columbia, and many cousins.
