Nipomo, Calif.: Alberta Wilder Peterson, 88, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, Calif. Mrs. Peterson was born in Georgetown County on October 6, 1918, a daughter of the late Samuel Edward Wilder and Prudence Pernice Bates Wilder. She resided in California for a number of years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Peterson was predeceased by: seven sisters, Jettie Whaley, Helen Betancourt, Leona Williams, Nellie Cenora, Omy Cribb, Mable Mannix, and Willie Cox Pierce. Surviving are: her husband, Robert W. Peterson of Nipomo, Calif.; and a daughter, Sigrid G. Wagner and her husband Thomas of Redondo Beach, Calif. Funeral services will be three o�clock Sunday afternoon, September 16, 2007, at the graveside in Rose Hill Baptist Churchyard in the Rose Hill community of Georgetown Co. Officiating will be the Rev.
