Gaston:

Alice Marie Sorsdahl Bone, 82, widow of Robert Jimmy Bone, Sr. died October 24, 2022, at her residence in Gaston, SC.

Mrs. Bone was born in Canada on July 19, 1940, a daughter of the late Lloyd Robert Sorsdahl and Laura Katherine McLean Sorsdahl.

Alice grew up in Stratford Ontario Canada and graduated from Mitchell District High School. Mrs. Bone worked for Bell Canada before moving to Georgetown. She worked for Georgetown Dress Manufactory where she met Robert, before going to work for Frog Tog ladies apparel; she later was Manager of Mason Furniture. She was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church where she was the pianist for many years.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs., Bone is deceased by a sister, Connie Sorsdahl Hessel.

Survivor are: one daughter, Andrea Marie Bone Floyd; two sons,, Robert Jimmy Bone, Jr. and Lloyd Allen Bradley Bone; two step-daughters, Terry Sue Bone and Sarah Edna Bone Ray; a sister Anita Sorsdahl Chessell; and seven grand-children, and a very special person in her life, Clarence D. Hayes..

Funeral Services will be two o'clock Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Sampit United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Mary E. Green. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
