Andrews: Alice Mills Elliott, 73, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Elliott was born in Andrews on September 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Charlie Gary Mixon and Virginia Barrineau Mixon. She grew up in Andrews and attended the schools there. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Andrews Church of God. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by: her first husband, Steven William Mills, Jr.; a son, Randy L. Mills; and a daughter, Deborah E. Mills. Surviving are: her husband, D. W. Elliott of Andrews; two sons, Dennis W. Mills of Kings Mountain, N. C. and Danny Mills of Clover; a daughter, Elsie M. Martin of Andrews; five step-sons, Wayne Elliott, Glennie Elliott, Michael Elliott, and Melvin Elliott, all of Andrews, and Alvin Elliott of Charleston; three step-daughters, Marilyn Anderson and Patricia Moorefield, both of Winston-Salem, N. C., and Teresa Smith of Andrews; a brother, Loyal D. Mixon of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and a sister, Geneva M. Futch of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, April 13, 2006, at Andrews Church of God. Officiating will be the Rev. Wayne L. Cox, the Rev. Tommy Cox, and the Rev. Jimmy Capps.
