McClellanville:
Allison Leland Koelling, 74, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at Roper Hospital.
Mrs. Koelling was born in McClellanville on March 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Rutledge Baker Leland and Lucille Morrison Leland. She grew up in McClellanville and attended schools there. Mrs. Koelling attended business college for two years in Savannah, Ga. She was a member of the McClellanville Civic Club and a volunteer with the Village Museum of McClellanville. Mrs. Koelling was a member of St. James Santee Episcopal Church Chapel of Ease. She was the widow of Henry William Koelling, Jr.
Surviving are: four daughters, Pamela K. Morrison, Lucille K. Graham and Laura K. Leslie, all of McClellanville, and Ann K. Hutson of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, William B. Leland of Mt. Pleasant and Rutledge B. Leland of McClellanville; two sisters, Agnes L. Baldwin of McClellanville and Lila L. DuPre of James Island; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Koelling was predeceased by a brother, James M. Leland.
Funeral services will be on Thursday morning, October 7, 2004, at St. James Santee Episcopal Church Chapel of Ease at eleven o'clock. Officiating will be The Rev. Richard Thomson. Burial will follow at New Wappetaw Presbyterian Cemetery.
