Alvin Lee Ard, 74, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at his home. Born in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Albert M. and Alliefair (Casselman) Ard.

He is survived by one son, Andy (Teresa) Ard; one daughter, Angie (Timmy) Lambert; four grandchildren, Christepher (Ashley) Terry, Amber (Keith) Roberts, Brittany (Matt) Howell, and Dawson Lambert; nine great-grandchildren, Brandy, Harper, and Ayden Terry, Cheyenne, Jana, and Margaret Ann Roberts, and Marleigh, Carter, and Leah Howell; and one sister, Annette Ard Howard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janella Ard; one son, Aaron Ard; two brothers, Wendell and Arnold Ard; and one sister, Alberta Howard.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, February 7 in Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church, 56 Big Dam Swamp Drive, Andrews, SC 29510. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 8, also in Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church, with burial in Ivey Cemetery in Andrews.
