Andrews: Andrew Murry Barrineau, 77, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at Ralph H. Johnson DVA Medical Center in Charleston. Mr. Barrineau was born in Kingstree on April 24, 1929, a son of the late Duncan Barrineau and Mary Hannah Barrineau. He attended school in Williamsburg County and moved to Andrews in 1951. Mr. Barrineau served in the U. S. Air Force with the military police in Germany. He was an employee of International Paper Company for many years and a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews. Surviving are: his wife, Maggie Morris Barrineau of Andrews; two sons, Dennis M. Barrineau and his wife Tara of Weddington, N. C. and Glenn H. Barrineau of Mt. Pleasant, S. C.; a daughter, Jane B. Chard and her husband David of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Joan B. Garque of Kingstree; four grandchildren, David L. "Tripp" Bennett, III, Drew Bennett, Caroline Barrineau and William Barrineau; and three step-grandchildren, Sarah Chard Pelot, Jason Chard, and Anna Chard; and his friend and faithful companion, "Miss Dolly". Funeral services will be Friday afternoon, September 22, 2006, at three o'clock in the First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp and the Rev. Murray W. Powell.
