Murrells Inlet: Andrew Wadies Thompson, 86, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Mr. Thompson was born in the Vox community of Florence County on March 4, 1926, a son of the late Callie Thompson and Elizabeth Brigham Thompson. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew Wadies Thompson, Jr. of Pawleys Island. Surviving are: his wife, Patience B.
