Georgetown: Angel Karam Khoury, 91, widow of the late Kelly Khoury, died Friday, March 18, 2022. Mrs. Khoury was born in Lebanon on June 4, 1930, and moved to Georgetown in 1954. She was a very devout Catholic, and was a member of Saint Mary, Our Lady of Ransom, Catholic Church. Mrs. Khoury was a member of the Catholic Women's Club and the Alter Society. She was known and loved for her Lebanese cooking. Angel was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and loving grandmother. Mrs. Khoury is predeceased by: her husband, a daughter, Mary Khoury and a son, Paul Khoury. Mrs. Khoury is survived by: a daughter, Adele Khoury Rowell (Ken) of Georgetown; two granddaughters, Gina K. Strange (Josh) and Julianna K. Brownlee (Adam) both of Spartanburg; a grandson, Khal Khoury (Caroline) of Ashville, NC, and a daughter-in-law, Carole Khoury of Spartanburg, and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be eleven o'clock Monday, March 21, 2022, at Saint Mary our Lady of Ransom, Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
