With profound sadness and enduring love, we remember Angela D Froscheiser (Parr), 67, who passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at MUSC Hospital after complications from cancer treatment. Though her time with us ended far sooner than hoped, she cultivated a life as one tends to a beautiful garden—with patience, grace, and boundless love. The seeds of kindness she planted, the beauty she nurtured in others, and the warmth she shared will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Angie was born to Ann and Imon Parr, March 25, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She moved to Herndon Virginia in 1987, where she spent the beautiful early years of motherhood. In 1982 a beacon of light was brought into her life in one of the most common places we find ourselves in adulthood, work. In August of 1985, Kary Froscheiser and Angela Parr, made a lifelong commitment to one another in marriage, something that was very sacred and valued by both. Family came soon after, with the birth of Camille Froscheiser, March of 1987. Then as they moved into the next phase of life and a new home; another blessing came along with the birth of their son Karl in July of 1995.

Angie was deeply loved by the friends and community she embraced in Pawleys Island, in the home she and Kary had long dreamed of sharing as they enjoyed the well-earned years of retirement together. Celebrations of all types were held in high regards for Angie. She always added her secret ingredient of love, making every special day feel magical. Angie found joy in life’s simple moments; Saturday adventures with kids loaded in a car making “just one more” stop at an antique shop, or an afternoon buying plants for the garden that god knows we didn’t have time to plant. Once retirement arrived, no time felt better spent than on afternoon walks on the shore of Pawleys Island searching for the perfect shell, the exercise classes in the winter, and water aerobics with the mermaids in the summer. Angie’s four-legged companions held a spot most dear in her heart. Whether it was a walk on the beach, in the neighborhood, or exploring the woods of Virginia; she was happiest to do it with her beloved dogs. To Angie, family was never defined solely by blood, but by the people God lovingly stitched into the fabric of her life. An avid quilter, she understood that the most beautiful quilts are not made from matching pieces, but from carefully chosen patches—each unique in color, texture, and story, yet lovingly joined together to create something stronger and more beautiful than any one piece alone.

Angie’s quilt of life was stitched with the family and friendships she cherished. Each person held a special place in her heart, and together they formed the masterpiece of a life filled with love. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kary; her beloved children, Camille and Karl; her sisters, Sabrina Duhe and Deborah Eastwood; and the countless family members and dear friends who were forever sewn into the quilt of her heart. We love you, Angie. May we honor your memory by sharing with others the same adoring radiance and ever-growing love that you so freely gave throughout your beautiful life.

A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday August 1, 2026, at the Downtown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral home, 222 St. James Street, Georgetown, SC. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
