Georgetown:
Anne Shuford Moore, 88, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown.
Mrs. Moore was born in Georgetown on June 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Robert Pow Shuford and Edna Butler Shuford. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and McLeod's Infirmary School of Nursing. Mrs. Moore was a retired registered nurse with the practice of Dr. C. Lide Williams and a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: a son, Jack "Randy" Moore (Pam) of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Debra Rhodes Persons (Rob) of Aiken; two grandchildren, Ashton Kennedy and Meagan Potterfield; eight great-grandchildren; Jack, Maddy, and Lilly McConnell, Emma Kennedy, and Jordyn, Macon, Tyler, and Lydia Potterfield; and a sister, Betty Roberson of Georgetown.
Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, December 21, 2015, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Dora Gafford.
