Andrews:

Anne Austin May Watson, 80, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Watson was born in Farmville, Virginia on September 8 1942, the daughter of Arthur Austin May, Sarah Grace Mildred Parsons May, and step mother Dixie Virginia May.

She graduated from Andrews High School and attended Limestone College. She graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a teacher in Savannah, Georgia before staying home to raise her daughters.

Surviving are: Three daughters, Riley Grant (Barry) of Greer, SC, Emily Chariker (Chris) of Charleston, SC and Caroline Burns (Chad) of Matthews, NC; Five grandchildren Mary Everett Grant, Gracie Chariker, Price Chariker, Mimi Burns, and Eliza Burns.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Monday, April 24, 2023 at Andrews Memorial Cemetery, officiating will be the Reverend A. Kenneth Weldon.
