Anne Beale Wilkes, 69, of Georgetown, SC, died on December 15, 2025, at her home. Anne was born on May 13, 1956, in Falls Church, VA. She was the daughter of John Wilkes, Jr. and Nina (Green) Wilkes.

Anne worked as a social worker for St. Jude and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Memphis, TN.

Anne was preceded in death by her wife, Madaline Hoing.

She is survived by John Wilkes and Libby of Georgetown, SC, Nina Tyler and Mike of Columbia, SC, and Cathy Stanton and Wayne of Columbia, SC. She was a special aunt to Chris and John C. Wilkes of Greensboro, NC, John Tyler (Kim) of Redondo Beach, CA, Matt Tyler of New Orleans, LA,Allison Leonard of Canada, and Tommy Leonard of Hartford, CT. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Mario.

The family would like to say special thanks to her caregiver, Denise Holmes.

The interment will be held privately later.
