Pawleys Island: Anthony "Tony" James Shortino, 66, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Shortino was born in Lancaster, Pa. on February 12, 1943, a son of Frank Anthony Shortino and the late Margaret Maloney Shortino. He moved to Pawleys Island in 1985 from Florence. Mr. Shortino was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his father of Pawleys Island is: an uncle, Harry Maloney of Pawley Island.
