Ashley Stowe Fuller, 71, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his home with his family beside him. Born in Raleigh, NC, he was a son of the late Moffitt McRae Fuller and Alice Merritt Fuller Edge.

Ashley was a supervisor for many years with Charleston County Roads and Bridges and later was a route driver for Monster Marketing. He loved his family, the outdoors – especially fishing – and was well known for being a Parrott Head and a Carolina Gamecock fan.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Marshall Fuller; daughter, Caroline Fuller of Myrtle Beach; stepdaughters, Amiee Burch of Myrtle Beach and Cpt. Jennifer Melfi and her husband, Cpt. Marc Melfi, of Germany; a brother, Leighton Fuller; sister, Lee Eanes; grandchild, Tyler Dorsey; a special family relative, Marilyn Burch; and special friends, J.C. Cox and family of Georgetown, Sabrina McDowell of Georgetown, and Laura Lawless and Becky Beard of Lancaster. He will be missed by his constant companions, Lady Bug and Molly Jane.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Wesley Fuller, his grandmother, Sarah, and his stepfather, Carl Edge.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to their special friends on Cherokee Road, especially Amanda, Glenda, Angie, and her husband Jamie, for their love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. They also extend their sincere appreciation to the members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church on Browns Ferry Road for their constant prayers and encouragement.

His stepdaughter Jennifer added, “Thank you for being there when you didn’t have to be. I will see you later in Margaritaville!”

A special thank you is extended to Hailee and Jenette, as well as the other nurses and caregivers of Patriot Hospice, for the compassionate care, comfort, and support they provided to Mr. Fuller and his family throughout his journey.

Funeral arrangements are being directed by the Maryville Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory, 843-546-4184.
