Georgetown: Barbara Ann Connett Bush, 81, widow of Chandler Matthewson Bush, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Bush was born in Robinson, Ill. on June 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Max Arnold Connett and Julia Lucille Rogers Connett. She was an artist and a member of the Georgetown Art Guild, and she travelled abroad to paint. Mrs. Bush had a great love for animals and volunteered for SC Cares. She was a communicant of Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Church, where she sang in the choir. Surviving are: a son, Eric Keith Breithaupt of Georgetown; a daughter, Lisa Ann Johnson (Wayne) of Fort Worth, Tex.; a step-son, Tim Bush; two step-daughters, Kathy Battle and Amy Bush; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the graveside at two-thirty on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2013, at Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Church Columbarium. Officiating will be the Rev.
