Florence: Barbara "Bobbie" Y. Causey, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence. She had been ill for many years and had lived in the Honorage Nursing Center for the past ten years. Her illness never dampened her spirit, however. She enjoyed her family and many friends. Surviving are: her niece, Diane Causey Matuse; her great-niece, Christina Reneé Anthony; her nephews, James David Causey, III (Maria) and Sam Starr; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Causey Starr (Lloyd); and many cousins. Graveside services are at eleven o'clock on Thursday morning, August 15, 2013 at Elmwood Cemetery Annex in Georgetown. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Honorage Nursing Center and Carolinas Hospital System in Florence for their wonderful care for the past ten years.
