Obituary

Georgetown: Barbara Ann Langston Davis, 68, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Tidelands Hospice House. Ms. Davis was born in Andrews on November 20, 1945, a daughter of the late Wade Hampton Langston and Carrie Casselman Langston. She grew up in Andrews and attended Williamsburg schools. Ms. Davis was a member of Victory Freewill Baptist Church and attended New Hope Fellowship. She loved everyone. Surviving are: four sons, Willis "Walt" Langston (Janet) of Andrews, Andy Owens of Georgetown, and Archie Baxley and Russell Baxley (Darlene), both of Newberry; three grandchildren, Ciara Owens, Gage Langston, and Ashlee Lewis; four great-grandchildren, Sophia and Genaro Joseph Martinez, and Rylee and Macie Lewis; a sister, Jan L. West; and three brothers, Arthur, Don, and Dan Langston. Ms. Davis was predeceased by: a brother, Van Langston. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, September 30, 2014, at New Hope Fellowship. Officiating will be the Rev. J. W. Casselman.
