Georgetown: Barbara Jean Miller Jordan, 60, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jordan was born in Georgetown on October 2, 1943, a daughter of Annie Ruth Goude Miller and the late Steven Andrew Miller. She lived in Georgetown all of her life and loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Graves Southern Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her Mother of Georgetown are: her husband, Billy H. Jordan of Georgetown; three sons, L. Wade Roberts, Jr. of Bishopville, Mark A. Roberts of Georgetown, H. Scott Roberts of Shallotte, N. C.; two daughters, Peggy J. Roberts and Susan J. Roberts, both of Georgetown; a step-son, Billy Jordan, Jr. of Georgetown; three step-daughters, Wendy J. Redick, Lisa J. Ward, and Christy Jordan, all of Georgetown; a brother, Steven Andrew Miller, Jr. of Charleston; two sisters, Shirley Ann M. Thornley and Harriett M. Sexton, both of Georgetown; sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and seven step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 29, 2003, at three o'clock at Graves Southern Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Earl Barnhill. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
