Andrews:
Beaulah Ann Carter Crooks, 90, widow of the late Harry Lavine Crooks, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, at Johnsonville Adult Care Center.
Mrs. Crooks was born in Georgetown County on October 13, 1929, a daughter of the late Daniel Britton Carter and Mary Beaulah Miller Carter.
Mrs. Crooks grew up in the Pleasant Hill Community and attended the Pleasant Hill School. She was a long time member of the Andrews Church of God. Mrs. Crooks was a homemaker and loved fishing, reading and most of all caring for her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: a son, Paul Daniel Crooks (Kathe) of Georgetown; two daughters, Debra C. Young of Georgetown and Margaret C. Thomas (Jerry) of Andrews; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be two o'clock Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Wayne Cox. Burial will follow in the Spring Gulley Baptist Churchyard.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, October 17, 2019, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
