Andrews:
Benjamin "Tim" Fraser Harrelson, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Kindred Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Harrelson was born in Nichols on November 2, 1926, son of the late Benjamin Fraser Harrelson and Katherine Naomi Hewitt Harrelson. He grew up in Horry Co. and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Harrelson was a retired automotive parts manager and had been employed by a number of auto dealerships in Horry and Georgetown Counties. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews and former deacon, choir member, and Sunday School teacher. Mr. Harrelson was also an avid gardener, enjoyed collegiate athletics, and a longtime member of IPTAY.
Mr. Harrelson was predeceased by a brother, Hope D. Harrelson.
Surviving are: his wife, Bonelle Cox Harrelson of Andrews; a daughter, Myra Cox and her husband Glenn of Pawley's Island; a son, Tim G. Harrelson and his wife Melinda of Georgetown; two sisters, Dot Jolly of Spartanburg and Grace Delaney of Lancaster; three grandsons; three granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Friday, October 7, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp. Burial will follow at three o'clock in Carter Cemetery in Horry Co. near Loris.
