Andrews:
Betty Ann Fulton Cox, 81, widow of Lorenzo Clyde Cox, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Lake Marion Nursing Center, in Summerton.
Mrs. Cox was born January 31, 1936, in Andrews, a daughter of the late James Alva Fulton and Bernice Ida Ivey Fulton. Sher grew up in the Big Damn Swamp Community of Georgetown County near Andrews and graduated Andrews High School. She was a very caring person and enjoyed spending the times with friends and visitors; also, she loved watching birds from her window. Mrs. Cox was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors are: two sons, Ricky Cox (Beth) of Garden City Beach and Rusty Cox (Terri) of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Nicklaus, Hunter, Dylan, Jamie and Andy Cox; three sisters, Alverta Watson of Andrews, Nell Easler of Greeleyville and Emily Knobelock of Orangeburg.
In addition to parents and husband, Mrs. Cox is predeceased by: three sisters, Juanita F. Strong, Lucille F. Haile and Inez F. Altman.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday afternoon, January 10, 2018, at two o'clock in the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Lee Walters. Burial will following in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friend prior to the service on Wednesday in the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from one until two o'clock.
