Andrews:
Betty Claire Ozburn, 80, died Thursday, January 29, 2009, at her residence.
Miss Ozburn was born in Macon, Ga. on January 25, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph Lee Ozburn and Jewell Ammons Ozburn. She moved to Andrews in 1939 as a young girl and graduated from Andrews High School. Miss Ozburn served in the U. S. Air Force and worked for the civil service as Assistant Motor Pool Manager for the U. S. Motor Pool in Syracuse, N. Y. She returned to Andrews to live in 1984, where she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: two sisters, Mary Ozburn Fountain of Macon, Ga. and Peggy Ozburn Smith of Andrews; three nieces, Teresa B. (Chris) Chancey of Gray Ga., Jo O. (Jerry) Boland of Macon, Ga., and Jennifer R. Smith of Andrews; two nephews Edward Lee (Lucia) Boland of Bonaire, Ga. and John D. (Keys) Smith of Andrews; a number of great niece and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; and a long time friend, Gloria Manning of Andrews.
Memorial services will be two o'clock Sunday afternoon, February 1, 2009, at the graveside in Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Sandra Stevens Poirel.

The family will receive friends at 111 S. Magnolia Ave. in Andrews Saturday evening, January 31, 2009, from six until eight.
