Georgetown:
Betty Holtzscheiter Paschal, 90, widow of Clarence Elmo Paschal, died Monday, September 26, 2016 at The Lakes at Litchfield at Pawleys Island.
Mrs. Paschal was born in Andrews on September 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles Leonard Holtzscheiter and Jessie Bernice Williams Holtzscheiter. She grew up in Georgetown County and was a graduate of Winyah High School. Mrs. Paschal retired from Georgetown Memorial Hospital in 1997. She was a Charter Member of Screven Baptist Church and a member of the Deborah Sunday School Class of the church. Mrs. Paschal enjoyed playing fun games around the table with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Paschal was predeceased by: two sons, Clarence "Buddy" Paschal and Phillip Paschal; and a brother, Charles L. Holtzscheiter, Jr.
Surviving are: two sons, David Paschal (Gail) and Raymond Paschal (Sandra), both of Pawleys Island; a brother, Earl Holtzscheiter of Georgetown; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2016, at Screven Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Aubrey Floyd. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Baptist Churchyard in the Rose Hill Community of Georgetown Co. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church sanctuary from one until two.
