Betty Faye Nettles Todd, 73, beloved mother, sister and aunt, went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2022 in Columbia, SC.

She was born April 5, 1949 in Myrtle Beach SC, a daughter of the late Gilbert Owens and Eliza Jane Jones Gasque Owens.

She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved brother, Jack "Bubba" Pressley Gasque, Sr,

She is survived by her Sons, Randy Nettles & Chad Nettles (Tonya); Grandsons; John Wesley Nettles, Jamie Alexander Martin and Granddaughter in law; Heather Jean Roberts, Granddaughter; Rachel Dyane Tarlton, Grandson in law; Adam Thomas Bash, Great-Grandchildren; Emily Grace Bass, Corboral Alexander Martin, Samuel Alexander Hash all of Columbia; Brother, Wilton L Gasque (Patsy) of Surfside Beach; Nieces, Nephews; and very dear family and friends.

Betty grew up in Myrtle Beach and Columbia , SC. She attended Richland County school system, Dreher High School and the University of South Carolina. She loved baking and cake decorating. She was famous for her Strawberry Shortcake. She also loved Interior Design and had a great talent for enhancing any home or building. Betty loved Clemson Tigers and Elvis Presley. Betty held many jobs over the years including working at Capital City Dodge, Coca Cola Bottling Plant, Retail Stores, manager at Manning Garden Apartments and even received her Commercial Drivers License and drove 18-wheelers. She was an excellent Bible Teacher, but her greatest accomplishment were her boys, Randy, Chad and her Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
