Obituary

Andrews: Betty Jean Campbell Wiggins, 89, widow of Leo Tallie Wiggins, passed away Sunday January 12, 2020, at Morningside of Georgetown. Mrs. Wiggins was born March 9, 1930, in Bethune, a daughter of the late Eddie DeBose Campbell and Mamie Rebecca Stewart Campbell. She was a past member of Suttons United Methodist Church and presently a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Betty was fondly remembered in high school as "Little Bit" and was also, remembered for her beautiful smile. She and Tallie were married for over 65 years and are now reunited to continue their wonderful love for each other. Mrs. Betty was more than a homemaker, she was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was well known in her Andrews neighborhood for her wonderful lemon pies and her love for the children. Survived by: Diane Wiggins Nexsen, five nephews, Ted Cottingham, Kevin Cottingham, Chuck Campbell, Greg Campbell and Wiggins Blakeley; three nieces, Rebecca C. Goude, Mary Furches and Elisa Smith,. Funeral Services will be three o'clock Wednesday January 15, 2020, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ben Gafford. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday in the Family Life Center from two until three o'clock. Please sign a guestbook at: www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
