Obituary

Andrews: Bobby Rhem Cumbie, 73, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Mr. Cumbie was born in Williamsburg Co. on November 13, 1934, a son of the late George H. Cumbie, Sr. and Bernice Inez Poston Cumbie. He lived all his life in the Warsaw community of Georgetown Co. Mr. Cumbie was a retired employee of Conway Machine Works. Surviving are: his wife, Mattie Deola M. Cumbie of Andrews; two sons, Richard Wendell Cumbie of Florence and Bobby Rhem Cumbie, Jr. of Andrews; two brothers, Allen D. Cumbie of Fountain Inn and Phillip K. Cumbie of Georgetown; four sisters, Catherine C. Ward of Georgetown; Mary Ann C. Thomas of Bluff City, Tenn., Freda C. Wilson of Andrews, and Inez C. McGee of Chapin; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, October 1, 2008, at The Lighthouse of Praise Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dudley Parnell and the Rev. J. W.
