IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bradley Harold
Moock
June 2, 1960 – January 9, 2026
Bradley Harold Moock, age 65, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2026, in DeBordieu, South Carolina.
Born on June 2, 1960, in North Canton, Ohio, Brad met the love of his life, Nina, when he was just 15 years old. Their high-school romance became a lifelong partnership when they married on May 28, 1983. Together they built a beautiful life centered on love, faith, laughter and family.
Brad graduated from Miami University of Ohio and went on to spend his entire professional career in the insurance industry, dedicating over 40 years to both Nationwide Insurance and Builders Mutual Insurance. His work ethic was shaped early – beginning with picking corn at age 15 – and he carried that dedication throughout his life, always making sure his family was cared for and secure.
Brad was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He and Nina raised two children, William "Billy" and Lauren, and he was a proud and loving "Poppy" to his granddaughter, Nina Lily. Family was the center of Brad's world, and he cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
He loved spending time on his boat with his son and dogs, playing golf with friends, and taking walks with Nina. A former football player, Brad was also his son's biggest fan, rarely missing a soccer game and always cheering from the sidelines.
Brad and Nina also shared a passion for travel, having visited places such as Croatia, England, and Italy together. The family made memorable trips to the Caribbean, but some of Brad's favorite times were spent with family and friends at Sunset Beach, North Carolina, where he and Nina had a house for many years.
The family extends a special thank you to the friends who surrounded them with love and care in Debidue during this difficult time.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Nina; his children William Moock (Laci Hamilton) and Lauren Moock (Aaron Scurlock); and his granddaughter, Nina Lily Pendleton. His is also survived by his brother, Andrew Moock (Kathy), sister, Stacy Wozniak (Mike), sister-in-law Maryann Burgoon and nieces and nephews Diana Moock, Michelle Byrnes (Francisco), Kendra Miller (Joseph), Rachel Wozniak, Matthew Wozniak, Nina Hampton, Ariel Burgoon, Stephen Palombo (Casey), and Abigail Palombo.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, January 23rd at 2pm at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, NC. A future celebration of life will held at a date to be announced in DeBordieu.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Step Up Ministries in Raleigh or Friendship Place in Georgetown, SC.
