Andrews: Carol Lane Bone, 69, wife of Oneal Bone, died Monday, June 20, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Bone was born in Mullins on November 24, 1946, a daughter of Pittman Mack Lane and the late Frances Elizabeth Capps Lane. She grew up in Andrews and graduated from Howard High School. Mrs. Bone was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church. She loved flowers, going fishing, traveling and attending all of the grandchildren's activities. Mrs. Bone was best known as the "Softball Granny". She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of Andrews and her father of Georgetown are: a son, Roy Bone (Betty); two daughters, Monica West (Adman) and Shannon Bone both of Andrews; a brother, Donnie Lane of Georgetown; a sister, Joyce Graham (Charlie) of Andrews; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Bone was predeceased by; a daughter, Monica Carol Bone; a brother, John Lane; and a sister Shirley Polson. Funeral services will be ten o'clock Thursday morning, June 23, 2016, at Sampit United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. John Williams, Jr. Burial will follow in Sampit United Methodist Cemetery.
