Andrews: Carrie Casselman Langston, 83, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Langston was born in Andrews on December 4, 1924, a daughter of the late Douglas Casselman and Adeline Herring Casselman. She lived all her life in the Andrews area and was a retired employee of Oneita Industries. Mrs. Langston was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church, where she served as church treasurer. Mrs. Langston was predeceased by: her husband, Kenneth W. Langston; and a son, Van Langston. Surviving are: five sons, Arthur Langston, Don Langston, and Dan Langston, all of Andrews, Walt Langston of Hemingway, and Andy Owens of Georgetown; two daughters, Barbara Davis and Bonny "Jan" West, both of Andrews; three sisters, Nellie Port and Bernie Mae Port, both of Hemingway, and Joann Rogerson of Andrews; seventeen grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be six o'clock Tuesday evening, July, 1, 2008, at Family Worship Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Murray W. Powell and the Rev. John W. Casselman.
