Georgetown: Catherine Regina Dorn, 55, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Ms. Dorn was born in Georgetown on November 7, 1957, a daughter of the late Martin "Mose" Harold Dorn and Evelyn Ray Groverman Dorn. She lived all her life in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah Academy and the University of S.C. Ms. Dorn worked for the S.C. State Employment Security Commission, where she retired after over 30 years of employment. She was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an avid Gamecock fan. Surviving are: two sisters, Donna Dorn and T-Ann Dorn, both of Georgetown; an aunt, Peggy Lautenbach of W. Palm Beach, Fla.; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock on Tuesday morning, July 16, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Ronald G. Hartman and Pastor Arden Hallman. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, July 15, 2013, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
