Georgetown:
Catherine DeCarlo Prisco, 82, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Prisco was born in New York City on September 19, 1923, a daughter of the late Philip DeCarlo and Angelina Peretti DeCarlo. She grew up in New York City and lived in Westbury, N. Y. prior to moving to Pawley's Island in 1986. Mrs. Prisco moved to Georgetown in August. She and her late husband, Louis C. Prisco, were former owners of Stampco, an auction house for rare U. S. stamps, in Westbury, N. Y. Mrs. Prisco was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church at Pawley's Island and a former volunteer at Waccamaw Elementary School.
Surviving are: a son, Louis E. Prisco of Long Island, N. Y.; a daughter, Kathy Henderson and her husband Bruce of Pawley's Island; a brother, Jerry DeCarlo of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Pearl Wade of Oahu, Hawaii, and Douglas Henderson and Katlyn Henderson, both of Pawley's Island.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, November 12, 2005, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick J. Stenson. Burial will follow in Belin Memorial United Methodist Cemetery at Murrells Inlet.
