Andrews: Chad Nicholas Ward, 20, died Saturday, September 6, 2008, in a vehicle accident near Andrews. Mr. Ward was born in Georgetown on October 8, 1987, a son of Bruce Anthony Ward and Sharon Ray Ward. He lived all his life in the Andrews area and was a graduate of Andrews High School. Mr. Ward was an employee of Pierce Machinery & Wire. Surviving in addition to his parents of Andrews are: a brother, Travis Anthony Ward of Andrews; paternal grandparents, Clevie and Roberta Ward of Andrews; maternal grandmother, Glenda Ray of Andrews; and paternal great-grandmother, Rhodie Bunch of Shulerville. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008, at The Christian Fortress. Officiating will be the Rev. Geraldine Bednego. Burial will follow in Ivey Cemetery.
