Charles "Chuck" Jackson Green, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at Norman Regional Medical Center in Norman, Ok.
Technical Sergeant Green was born September 22, 1968 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and was an 18 year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was hand-selected to serve as an Aircraft Armament Systems Instructor at Sheppard Air Force Base, and in May, 2005 he transitioned to the 373d Training Squadron, where he served as a world-wide training scheduler. TSgt. Green was a decorated veteran of Operation DESERT STORM, and has served tours of duty in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Korea. Tsgt. Green was an avid flyer and a certified private pilot.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at three o'clock at the graveside in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill.
TSgt. Green was predeceased by: his mother, Jeannie F. Daniels.
TSgt. Green is survived by his wife, Stora Rowe Green; two sons, Nicholas and Charles "CJ" Green, a step-daughter, Jessica Golliday, a step-son, Jerry-Joseph Howard; his father and stepmother Albert J. and Katherine Green of St. Francisville, La.; step-father and step-mother, James "Chip" and Melanie Daniels of Georgetown; three brothers, James "Jamie" Garland Daniels, II of Pawley's Island and Christopher M. Green and Andy Green, both of St. Francisville, La.; and a sister, Erin Green of St. Francisville, La.
