Andrews:
Charles Woodson Stamper, III, 55, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mr. Stamper was born in Georgetown on June 3, 1954, a son of Eleanor Sims Stamper and the late Charles Woodson Stamper, Jr. He grew up in Andrews and was a graduate of Andrews Academy. Mr. Stamper was the property manager for the family real estate. He also worked for a time as a paralegal in Winston-Salem, N. C., was the former owner-manager of Movie Magic rental store at Pawleys Island, and also worked at Winyah Auto Parts in Georgetown. Mr. Stamper was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews.
Surviving are: his mother of Andrews; a brother, Robert S. Stamper (Shea) of Andrews; a sister, Marie A. Stamper of Andrews; a nephew, Rob Stamper (Lorie) of Andrews; and a niece, Sarah A. Stamper of Columbia.
Funeral services will be three-thirty o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 21, 2010 at the graveside in Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp.
