Murrells Inlet: Charlotte Taylor Altman, 70, died Monday, August 12, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Altman was born in Fayetteville, N. C. on October 7, 1942, a daughter of the late Nolan "Red" Everett Taylor and Cynthia Smith Taylor. She grew up in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended Wilmington Junior College. Mrs. Altman lived in Wilmington, N. C. and Charleston for a time prior to moving to Murrells Inlet fifteen years ago. Mrs. Altman was predeceased by: a brother, Bernard "Bernie" W. Taylor. Surviving are: a son, Gordon B. Altman of Murrells Inlet; a brother, Eric W. Taylor (Sherry) of Georgetown; two granddaughters, Jessica and Kylie Altman; and a grandson, Tyler Altman. Memorial services will be Friday, August 16, 2013, at eleven o'clock at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Cox.
