Georgetown: Clarence L. Anderson, 86, died Monday, April 11, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Anderson was born in Georgetown on January 11, 1925, a son of the late John Walter Anderson and Maude Roberts Anderson. He was a retired U. S. Naval Petty Officer, and served in the Pacific Theater in the Philippines during World War II. Mr. Anderson lived most of his life in Georgetown, and he truly loved his cats. Surviving are: a sister, Jennie Bullard of Georgetown; numerous nieces and nephews; and several adoptive children overseas. Funeral services will be at two o�clock on Friday afternoon, April 15, 2011, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Wall. Burial will follow in Sampit United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from one until two o�clock.
