Pawleys Island

Claret Mary Heider ( née Station), 79, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, passed from this mortal coil on January 17, 2024, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown, SC.

Born May 16, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Sybil Station, Claret was a loving daughter, wife, and mother. She was a beacon of light and friendship to all those she met.

Claret is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond A. Heider, Jr. of Pawleys Island, and her beloved son, Erich B. Heider of Charleston, SC.

The Heider family would like to thank all of Claret's amazing friends, former colleagues, and relations for their love and support. Thank you also to Tidelands Health and MUSC for their care.

The internment will be private, as per Claret's wishes.
