Georgetown: Claude Vincent Falkenhan, 85, died Thursday, September 18, 2003, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Falkenhan was born in Pittsburgh, Penn. on January 22, 1918, a son of the late Frank C. Falkenhan and Magdalene Lena Nebel Falkenhan. He served as a hospital corpsman in the Navy during World War II and worked for the North Allegany School District. Mr. Falkenhan moved to Georgetown in 1983. He was a communicant of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. Surviving are: his wife, Ann Falkenhan of Georgetown; a son, Vincent Falkenhan of Zelienople, Penn.; a daughter, Claudette Falkenhan-Gray of Mt. Lebanon, Penn.; a sister, Dolores F. Barrow of Spartanburg; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Monday morning, September 22, 2003, at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church at eleven o'clock. Officiating will be Father Ronald J. Farrell. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
