Georgetown: Cleaon Jacobs, 91, widower of Hazel Rowe Jacobs, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Jacobs was born in Upper Georgetown County on February 13, 1926, a son of the late Penniman Roosevelt Jacobs and Minnie Pearl Powers Jacobs. He grew up in Georgetown County and attended Union School. Mr. Jacob served in the army during World War II. He was an automotive mechanic until retirement. His daughter Peggy was his loving caregiver until his passing. Surviving are: a daughter, Peggy Stevens, and a brother, DeLeon Jacobs (Rona) both of Georgetown. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Jacobs is predeceased by: a son, Clinton Jacobs. Graveside Services will be at eleven o'clock Thursday morning, October 26, 2017, at Hucksfield Cemetery.
