Andrews: Cleve Cox, 84, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Cox was born in Williamsburg County on April 1, 1920, a son of the late Thomas Durant Cox and Ellen Howard Cox. He grew up and attended school in Andrews. Mr. Cox served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He was an employee of Rocko Steel until his retirement in 1987. Mr. Cox was a member of the Family Worship Center and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are: his wife, Leila Avant Cox of Andrews; a son, Ronald J. Cox of Andrews; four daughters, Florrie B. Cox, Patricia Ann Cox, Audrey Cox, and Darla L. Collins, all of Andrews; a sister, Willow C. Casselman of Andrews; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 4, 2004, at two o'clock at the Family Worship Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Murray Powell and the Rev. John Goins.
