Surfside Beach: Clifford "Cliff" Thomas Bell, III, 56, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 in Surfside Beach. Funeral service will be held at Georgetown Presbyterian Church on Wednesday morning, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 o'clock, with Rev. Dr. William H. Pucket, Jr. and Bruce M. Carl officiating. Burial will follow at Andrews Memorial Cemetery in Andrews. Visitation will be held in the Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 o'clock. The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Cliff was born in Georgetown to the late Clifford Thomas Bell, Jr. and Evelyn Ayers Bell on July 6, 1960. He went to high school at Camden Military Academy and graduated in 1978. Cliff went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assisting from the Medical University of South Carolina. He worked as the manager of financial services at Prudential in Myrtle Beach, SC. Surviving are: his wife, Christy McNew Bell of Surfside Beach; sons, Clifford Creighton Bell of Nashville, Tennessee and Thomas Ayers Bell of Surfside Beach; sisters Lyn Bell Galloway (Randy) of Yorktown, Virginia, Louise Bell Cooper (Ron) of Columbia, Katherine Bell Mitchum of Georgetown, and Margaret Bell Wood (Jim) of Easton, Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
