Andrews:
Clifford Earl "Kip" Morris, 66, died Monday, July 17, 2017, at his residence.
Kip was born in Georgetown on September 21, 1950, the son of the late Robert Jackson Morris and Frances Helen Mobley Morris. He was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and a faithful member of Elim United Methodist Church. He worked as a Conductor and Brakeman for CSX Railroad for forty years.
Kip loved retirement and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was easy to love and loved by many. He was a devoted family man and loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much. Kip always had a smile and had the best sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Surviving are: his wife, Becky Hilliard Morris of Andrews; a son, Spencer Morris of Georgetown; two daughters, Suzanne Blakeley (Blake) and Katelin Walters (Jason), both of Andrews; five grandchildren; Jackson, Camie, Luke, Caden, and Jude; three sisters, Jackie Bailey (Bill), Angela Hamer, and Pam Janik; and a brother, Bruce Morris (Susan).
Funeral services will be five o'clock Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Elim United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. David Canine. Burial will follow in the Churchyard.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday in the church Fellowship Hall from three-thirty until five.
