Clifton Donnie Adams, 48, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Tidelands Memorial Hospital.

Donnie was born in Georgetown on July 14, 1975, son of Richard T. Renney of Virginia and Linda Rogers Staton of Georgetown, SC., and the godparents of Donnie, Robert Cox & Zonda Cox.

Donnie is survived by his mother and father, a daughter; Whitney Adams (Ricky Soles) of Andrews, a sister; Maria Adams of Georgetown, nephew; Ashton Adams, grandchildren; Brayden Soles, Graysen Soles, and baby to be Nathen Avery Soles, god-sisters; Crystal Cox and April Poston of Georgetown, god nephews; Ryland Thomas, Maddox Byars, and Emma Byars, mother of Whitney Adams; Crystal Thompson.

Donnie is predeceased by his grandparents; Thelma Rogers and Cliffton E Rogers, and an uncle; Cliffton H Rogers.

Donnie was a talented artist. He worked in the construction industry as a painter. He loved to cook for others and enjoyed others eating the meals he prepared. Donnie had a love for animals, his pets became his babies. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 3:00 pm.

The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
