Andrews:

Connie Rose Hardie, 73, of Andrews, SC passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at MUSC after a long Illness.

Connie was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on November 26, 1949, and the daughter of the late Harold Claude Leathers and Erma Frances Knight.

Connie was a member of The Christian Fortress Church. She had a great love for music and dancing. Connie enjoyed many outdoor activities such as gardening.  She loved Boston Terrier dogs and other animals. She will be missed by family members and friends.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, Bobby Hardie, two brothers; Charles Leathers, Jim Leathers and a sister; Beatrice Clark, granddaughter; Caitlin S. Hardie, stepdaughter; Michelle Hardie

Surviving are: a daughter, Virginia Blakely (Kevin), grandchildren; Allen Blakely, Jacob, Blakely, and Cody Blakely all of Andrews, stepsons; Bobby Scott Hardie (Tracy) of Georgetown, George McCray Hardie (Vicki) of Andrews, stepdaughter; Cynthia Game (Eddie) of Andrews, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at The Christian Fortress from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday June 3, 2023. The memorial service will start at 3:00 pm.  Pastor Geraldine Bednego will be officiating the service.
