Georgetown: Cynethe Allen Zurcher, 89, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Zurcher was born in Conway on December 28, 1918, a daughter of the late John G. Allen and Margaret Orilla Martin Allen. She grew up in Horry Co. and lived most of her life in Georgetown Co. Mrs. Zurcher was a member of Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church and widow of William Argo Zurcher. Survivors include: three sons, Archie C. Zurcher, Hubert Zurcher, and John G. "Bobby" Zurcher, all of Georgetown; a daughter, Bernice Z. Bunch of Moncks Corner; a brother, J. B. Allen of McCall; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Friday morning, January 18, 2008, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Randy Zurcher.
