Andrews: Daniel Lee Jacobs, 23, died Friday, February 16, 2007, at N. E. and Ruby Green Hospice House of Tidelands Community Hospice. Mr. Jacobs was born in Georgetown on August 31, 1983, a son of Pamela Ethridge Ray and William Ray and his father LeeRoy Jacobs, Jr. He grew up in Andrews and attended Andrews High School. Mr. Jacobs was a former employee of Pierce Machinery & Wire, Inc. Surviving in addition to his parents of Andrews are: two brothers, Christopher Ray and Cody Ray, both of Andrews; a sister, Heather Ray of Andrews; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Billy Ethridge of Andrews; two nephews; a niece; and his faithful companion, Brutus. Funeral services will be two o'clock Sunday afternoon, February 18, 2006, at the graveside in Ivey Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas W. Wallace, II and Bernard Sims.
